RALEIGH — Legend's Library, a Raleigh-based children's lifestyle brand built around the celebration of Black stories, will make its official public debut at the BLACKOUT Author Showcase at Liberation Station Bookstore. The June 20 event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 430 Hill St., and is free and open to the public.

Legend's Library introduces young readers and their families to the rich world of Black children's literature — spotlighting real authors, real stories and real culture. The brand spans books, apparel and community programming.

The BLACKOUT Author Showcase brings together Black authors from across the region for a community celebration of Black literature. Legend's Library will host an interactive table where attendees can discover the brand's debut book, meet the founder, browse books by Black authors and join the growing Legend's Library community.

"Every child deserves a library that looks like them," said Tiyya Dunn, creator of Legend's Library. "We built this brand because representation in children's literature isn't just important, it's essential. This launch is the beginning of something much bigger than a book. We're building a movement around Black stories, Black authors and the next generation of readers."

Guests are encouraged to bring their children and are invited to explore books, connect with authors, and sign up to join the Legend's Library community for first access to future events, new book releases and brand updates.
