When the need for high-end luxury calls out to you, then consider a vacation to Fontainebleau Hotel, above, in Las Vegas. The incredible new property is on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip.

Fontainebleau opened at the end of 2023, and the resort’s public spaces, including the casino, have an airy feel that traditional Vegas properties don’t offer. Guests don’t feel crowded as they make their way through the large resort.

The Fontainebleau’s ambiance feels much more French Versailles than Vegas. With a color palette of dazzling white, French blue and gilded gold, the décor is between chic and over-the-top.

The hotel’s Fleur de Lis Suites and Penthouses are big, ranging from 980 square feet to 10,000 square feet in a variety of styles. Many of these suites come with dedicated butler and personalized concierge services, as well as VIP lounge check-in. At the lounge, guests can also get free cookies, pastries, coffee, water and top-shelf alcohol throughout the day and evening. Excellent floor to ceiling windows with views of Sin City and high-quality furniture are throughout the space.

Let’s do the spa

Lapis Spa & Wellness facility won World’s Best Casino Hotel Spa and Nevada’s Best Hotel Spa at the 2024 World Spa Awards.

Lapis Spa has separate areas for men and women, as well as a co-ed area. The men’s and women’s sections each have two oversized hot tubs with differing water temperatures, a dry sauna and a wet sauna, relaxation areas and more. The spa also offers treatment rooms and a menu of massages and other therapies.

Time to eat, drink and gamble

The dining scene at Fontainebleau tends toward trendy and hip. The resort’s Classic steakhouses with superstars Mother Wolf and Komodo offer a delicious dining experience. The Korean fried chicken at Komodo is memorable and so tasty, and fried squash blossoms at Mother Wolf are amazing. Wines from all over the world are served at the perfect temperature.

Bask in the breezy ambiance of La Côte and experience the flavors of the French Riviera in a laid-back elegant atmosphere. The passionfruit and vanilla sangria is delicious, paired with lobster quesadilla and served with chipotle aioli and mango salsa.

There is also a full gambling floor and money to be won and lost. World- class shopping is on every corner, and if you’re price squeamish, you might just choose to window shop. Gucci, Saint Lauren and Bottega Veneta; there is no shortage of stylish and luxury choices.

Live entertainment is all summer long and other special events. Don’t forget to take a free Zoox robotic cab ride while you're at Fontainebleau. Unless you have the app on a device, you’ll need staff to assist in booking a ride. It's like a grown-up carnival ride, a totally unique experience.

Have a one-of-a-kind trip to Las Vegas and a lifetime treat at Fontainebleau Hotel and resort.
