| Chapel Hill High student Vianna Fornville was named to the 2025 Disney Dreamers Academy Class. They will join 98 students from around the nation in Florida in March at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Fornville, who is also the first student from Orange County to attend the Academy, recalls the wisdom shared often by her mother, Vickie, a CHCCS Board of Education member: “In order to do the things that we want to do, we must do things that we have to do.”
Fornville, who also serves as a CHCCS Equity and Empathy ambassador, added: “This quote represents all of the work that I’ve done for my community and how it’s all led up to this moment.”
At Walt Disney World, March 26-30, Disney Dreamers will connect with business leaders, Disney executives, celebrities and educators through workshops and seminars created to inspire and accelerate their career aspirations. They’ll explore diverse career fields; develop essential skills such as communication, leadership and networking; and, of course, enjoy the magic and wonder of Walt Disney World.
