| The grand opening celebration of the Drakeford Library Complex was held last month. A beautiful and packed turnout of community members for remarks by elected officials from the Town of Carrboro and Orange County, Congresswoman Valerie Foushee, Carrboro Poet Laureate Liza Wolff-Francis, Town Manager Patrice Toney, and Derrick Drakeford – son of Robert Drakeford, for whom the complex is named – and more. |
