| Broughton and Wakefield basketball games honored the late Kay Yow |
| Students in Broughton High’s Sports and Event Marketing classes hosted their annual Kay Yow Cancer Fund event. Junior varsity and varsity basketball teams from Broughton and Cap 8 rival Wakefield High faced off as part of the charity effort that also featured a silent auction for goods and services donated by local businesses, including a team signed jersey and stick from the Canes. Breast cancer survivors were honored at halftime with flowers presented by the players |
