Winston-Salem State is the Cinderella story of the season.

The CIAA Tournament brackets are set.

After Saturday’s regular season ended, the four No. 1 seeds are Winston-Salem State and Bowie State on the women’s side, and Fayetteville State and Virginia State on the men’s. The women’s championship game is Feb. 28 at 1 p.m., followed by the men at 4 p.m. The entire tourney will be streamed on ESPN+, followed by the championships either live or rebroadcast on ESPNU.

WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT

Claflin and Lincoln (Pa.) open the tournament Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Livingstone vs. Elizabeth City State at 12:10 p.m.

Bluefield State vs. Shaw at 2:20 p.m.

Virginia Union vs. Johnson C. Smith closes out the women’s side at 4:30 p.m.

MEN’S TOURNAMENT

Shaw vs. Lincoln opens the men’s tourney Tuesday at 6:40 p.m.

Bowie State vs. Livingstone ends the L-O-N-G first day at 8:50 p.m.
