The CIAA Tournament begins Tuesday at 10 a.m. at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore. The women’s championship game is March 1 at 1 p.m., with the men following at 4 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on ESPNU.

On the women’s side, Virginia State is the Northern Division winner after defeating archrival Virginia Union in their regular season finale. Fayetteville State took its second straight division crown, with Livingstone – predicted to finish dead last in the conference – finishing in second. Shaw was fourth. Bluefield State vs. Johnson C. On the men’s side, Virginia State notched the top seed in the North after defeating the Panthers Saturday. Bluefield State claimed No. 2. The Broncos took their second straight division title, followed by Claflin in a mirror of last season’s 1-2 finish. Shaw finished fifth.
