Volunteers for diabled children and teens
Volunteers 16 and older are needed to help children and teens with developmental disabilities learn to swim on Wednesday evenings, from April 7 to 27 and/or May 4 to June 1. Classes will be held from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. and 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. at Homestead Aquatic Center, 300 Aquatic Drive. You should be able to commit to all weeks of the session. You'll help students practice what the instructor teaches. You don’t have to swim well or have experience teaching swimming; the Aquatics Instructor will guide you.
