Civil Rights Mural Project looking to December completion
Durham artists are climbing the scaffolding with brushes in hand as they work to complete the colorful Civil Rights Mural Project off Morris Street, next to the Durham Arts Council. Artist Brenda Holmes Miller was commissioned by the Durham City and County Cultural Advisory Board to oversee the design and creation of the mural that honors an important part of Durham's history and offered an opportunity for local artist participation.
