Malissa, aka Lady D, has made some mistakes in her life, and sometimes a man has always been at the center of it all. Malissa is a world-renown R&B entertainer and successful businesswoman unbeknownst to her family.
Within two years of meeting Antonio Jackson, their whirlwind romantic relationship has been one episode after another. Antonio feels now is the time for them to get married, but Malissa is dragging her feet – again. Malissa may still be carrying a torch for her old love and is keeping some secrets from Antonio, her family and fans.
Now, someone she met a few years ago at a nightclub is blackmailing Malissa. He knows all about her hidden secrets, and he wants money and more money. Malissa is tired of giving into him, but now he has threaten to kidnap one of her nephews or niece and do bodily harm to them.
A note has been mailed to Malissa’s parents saying that something will seriously happen to one of their grandchildren if the blackmailer does not get what he wants. Immediately, Vera calls her three sons – Douglas, Dante and Caesar –to come by for dinner. When they get there, they are confronted with the note.
They have no clue who could have done such a thing, because all of them have done some wrong when it comes to women. So any females that they have come in contact with may be behind this. Drama begins to unfold as the brothers try to hold on to secrets they would like to keep buried.
Malissa’s secrets, meanwhile, have come to surface on the nightly news. Her family, fans and record company are thrown for a loop.
